Add a PDF, Word Doc, Excel File to Pages or Posts (Video)

Upload the PDF or document as a file to the media.

You now have two options:   link to it via Text Link or link to it via an Image.

Example:  if you have a trail map or event you wish to display on a webpage, this actually cannot be done.  PDFs require Adobe Acrobat reader to be displayed, so what you do is link to the file by means of a web friendly source.  Text or a picture.

Suggestion, save the PDF as a JPEG file, upload both the JPEG and PDF.  Use the link of the PDF in the link option of the JPEG image.
